SAI GON & CU CHI TUNNEL – UNIQUE VIETNAM WAR TACTICS

Itinerary: 

5:00 AM, a driver and tour guide pick you up at your resort’s reception. 

Have a short stop for breakfast (guests bring their own breakfast box).

Visit Historical Relics Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels, a historic underground network used extensively during the Vietnam War by the Vietnamese resistance forces. These tunnels served as hiding spots, supply routes, living quarters, and strategic bases. There, you will have chance to:

• Watch a documentary film about the largest American ground operation of the Vietnam War.
• Explore the forest and watch a documentary on the strategic system of the Cu Chi Tunnels.
• Crawl into the tunnel and discover the hidden world beneath.
• Try to fire an M16 rifle at the shooting site (at your own expense).
• Enjoy the most popular food during war days at Cu Chi tunnels – the cassava.

Have lunch at a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City.

Start the Saigon city tour:

• Visit the War Remnant Museum, the unique museum in Vietnam to systematically study, collect, conserve and display exhibits on war crimes and consequences inflicted on the Vietnamese people by foreign aggressive forces.
• Visit the Saigon Post Office. This is a classic French colonial structure, is still a functioning post office today and features huge ceilings, a giant portrait of Uncle Ho, and many beautiful details.
• Check-in Saigon’s Notre Dame Cathedral.
• Visit Saigon SkyDeck Bitexco. The Skydeck offers 360-degree views of the city, including landmarks like the Saigon River, and the bustling cityscape of Ho Chi Minh City.

16:00, depart for Mui Ne.

Around 20:00, arriving at the resort in Mui Ne. Finishing the 1 day tour to Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh city tour.
